Job summary

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established and growing accountancy practice in north west London, which is looking for a Senior Client Advisor to join its team. You will manage a portfolio of clients, providing a broad range of accounting and advisory services while building long-term relationships.

With a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice, you will have strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting principles, and be confident dealing with

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting principles
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Good knowledge of personal and/or corporation tax
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• Proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact.
• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Supporting clients with tax compliance and general accounting queries.
• Preparing VAT returns and other submissions.
• Providing practical accounting and business advice to clients.
• Identifying opportunities to improve clients' financial processes and performance.
• Managing workload and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Reviewing work and guiding junior team members.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent client service.
