Job summary

Hays is partnering with a leading Scottish accounting firm to recruit a Senior Client Advisor for the Finance Outsourcing team in Glasgow. You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts are delivered on time and within budgets.

You’ll work with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks Online and CCH, coordinate client data and timelines, and coach junior staff. The role offers 50% hybrid working and ACCA training support. A driving licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Extensive bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts experience.
• Proficient with cloud bookkeeping software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks Online) and onboarding clients.
• Experience with practice management software (CCH) and MS Office suite.
• Degree or Accounting Technician level; ACCA or progress toward ACCA.

Responsibilities

• Manage own portfolio of clients from start to finish within deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate data collection, timelines and progress with clients and team.
• Raise and issueFees promptly; monitor WIP and internal workflows.
• Support department management with business development, sales, marketing and quality.
• Coach and support team members as directed by the Manager.
