S&W is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Edinburgh-based team, with flexibility for Stirling or Kirkcaldy. You will prepare accounts under FRS 102 for a varied client portfolio and support junior staff, while liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery.

This permanent, hybrid role offers opportunities to develop technical and client-management skills within a top UK accountancy firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in practice with OMBs preparing accounts under FRS 102.
• Client-facing experience in professional services.
• Accounts experience in a professional services firm.
• Ability to organise self and others across multiple assignments.
• Ability to monitor costs against budget for clients.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accounts for a range of companies from small to large under FRS 102, including groups and consolidations.
• Support junior team members with their technical development.
• Manage a portfolio of clients to deliver work to high standards and on time.
• Establish relationships with key contacts at client sites.
• Ensure clients receive proactive service and exceed expectations.
• Identify issues and coordinate resolutions with Partners/Directors.
