About the Role

Senior Client Accountant – Property Management (Bristol)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Accountant to join our dynamic property management team in Bristol. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong service charge accounting expertise and proven supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full service charge accounting lifecycle, including budget preparation, variance analysis, and year-end reconciliations.
• Oversee a small team, providing mentorship and support to junior accountants.
• Collaborate closely with property managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and client satisfaction.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flows, and monthly management reports for property portfolios.
• Support internal audits and maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Drive process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent) is helpful but not essential.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property accounting, with a focus on service charge accounting.
• Proven leadership and team supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication skills and client management capabilities.
