East Ayrshire Council seeks a full-time administrative support role at Hurlford Primary School. The position involves regulated work with children, requiring PVG membership. The role promotes the Council’s community objectives and offers a supportive work environment.
Deliver and supervise effective administrative support to all employees within the school/ECC, and assist in providing efficient front-line service to service users. This role aims to promote, deliver, and integrate the Council’s key objectives, specifically relating to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update if already a member, before a formal employment offer is made. PVG records are continuously updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

This is a permanent, full-time, term-time position based at Hurlford Primary School, Hurlford. The hours are 35 per week, scheduled at the line manager's discretion. The full-time salary ranges from £25,953 - £27,173 per annum, with the actual full-time term-time salary being £22,260 - £23,305 per annum.
