Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a senior/principal mechanical design engineer for a Buckinghamshire-based role. You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients across varied sectors in a design-focused environment.

The role emphasizes cleanroom design, adherence to standards, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions with effective team and client communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or building services; chartered or working towards is preferred.
• Extensive experience in design for cleanrooms or similar environments.
• Strong client interaction and presentation skills.
• Proficient with design software such as Hevacomp, IES, TAS or Cymap.
• Knowledge of British standards and HTMs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as project leader on selected projects.
• Join a larger team on various projects and contribute to design.
• Attend meetings and present to clients.
• Raise technical excellence within the team.
• Work on diverse projects across sectors.
• Engage in client facing work and manage junior engineers.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments.
• Produce drawings, specifications, and guiding calculations.
