The Christie NHS FT in Manchester is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead Domestic Supervisors and cleaning teams within Estate and Facilities. You will oversee domestic and deep cleaning, ensure high standards, staff wellbeing and compliance with NHS Cleaning Standards.

Based at Withington, the role offers 37.5 hours per week, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and membership of the NHS Pension Scheme, with some shift patterns across 24/7 service needs.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in cleaning, facilities, supervision or related field.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Operational service delivery of domestic and deep clean services per standards.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Domestic Supervisors and staff.
• Monitor quality and infection prevention, conduct audits and address improvements.
• Coordinate communication with clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Deliver staff training and development to maintain competence.
• Ensure health, safety, COSHH compliance and incident follow-up.
• Manage stock, equipment, and wastage; maintain records.
• Escalate complex issues per Trust policies; support decision-making.
• Adapt to rotating rosters and variable hours across a 24/7 service.
