Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Clean Water Modeller / Senior Modeller to join the Water Sector team in Peterborough or Cambridge. You will work on hydraulic modelling, GIS data analysis and stakeholder liaison, contributing to a wide range of domestic and overseas projects.

The role requires initiative, collaboration and a drive to advance technical skills toward ICE or CIWEM, with a focus on delivering high-quality modelling work and client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering / water management related degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to learn and develop technically toward ICE or CIWEM qualification.
• Proactive and motivated to develop technical knowledge and experience.
• Knowledgeable about changes in the UK Water Industry and their design implications.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of projects as part of a team and on individual assignments as required.
• Management and coordination of field testing for model validation and calibration.
• Use of hydraulic models for planning and operational purposes.
• Investigation and resolution of water infrastructure issues through design solutions development.
• Interaction with clients and stakeholders during face-to-face meetings.
• Data analysis and anomaly identification.
• Technical report writing.
• Proactive commitment to Health and Safety.
