Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an experienced Clean Water Modeller/Senior Modeller to join our Water Sector team in Peterborough or Cambridge. You will deliver hydraulic modelling projects, use GIS data, and support client liaison and project management across UK and overseas assignments.

The role offers career development and opportunities to create innovative tools to support the digital drive in the water industry. A professional qualification (ICE or CIWEM) is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Engineering or water management degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication is essential.
• Experience with Cleanwater modelling software (InfoWorks / Synergi / InfoWater) and GIS data is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of projects as part of a team or on individual assignments.
• Management and coordination of field testing for model validation/calibration.
• Use hydraulic models for planning and operations.
• Investigate and resolve water infrastructure issues with design solutions.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders in meetings.
• Perform data analysis and identify anomalies.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to safety culture.
• Develop tools to support digital initiatives in the water sector.
