How you will create an impact

• Underwrite risks according to Talbot’s philosophy and within your authority limits.
• Assist in delivering strategy and business plans.
• Ensure all underwriters adhere to the company’s appetite, authorities, and processes.
• Help manage the overall portfolio.
• Provide professional, prompt service to brokers and clients.
• Comply with personal underwriting authority terms.
• Review and update Underwriting Guidelines annually.
• Ensure underwriters operate within their authority.
• Conduct business in accordance with policies, procedures, and service levels.
• Maintain accurate premium entries in Subscribe.
• Act according to all regulatory standards and principles.
• Support other syndicate staff as needed.
• Continuously improve your knowledge and skills.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience as a Financial Lines Underwriter in the Lloyd’s market is essential.
• Detailed knowledge of D&O products.
• Chartered Insurance Institute – Advanced Diploma or degree preferred.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.
