£60,000 - £80,000 + bonus and benefits

An exciting new city-based MGA is seeking a PI Underwriter to join their team!

A highly experienced Underwriting Manager has set up this business within a wider group, with solid financial and capacity backing. They are looking for an Underwriter to come on board and be a key player in their growth journey.

The role will entail:

1. Underwriting new and renewal PI business (as well as some Management Liability). Initially this will be international business, but UK business will be soon to follow.
2. Liaising with existing Brokers and nurturing those relationships, with a close eye on retention of the renewal book.
3. Developing and fostering new Broker relationships.
4. Input and development ideas for new business.
5. Maintaining an understanding of current market trends.
6. Staying abreast of changes to international licensing as per Lloyd's Crystal and other tools.

This role would be ideally suited to a UK PI Underwriter looking to gain exposure to international business - full training on this will be provided! However, an understanding of international business as well as D&O would be valuable.
