Job summary

Markel London Market is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join the Marine Short Tail team. Reporting to the Assistant Claims Manager, you will lead and drive claims forward while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and insureds in line with the Markel claims philosophy.

You will collaborate with underwriters, actuarial and inwards teams, produce clear narratives, and contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting. ACII accreditation and knowledge of Fine Art & Specie are highly valued.

Qualifications

• ACII accreditation achieved or in progress.
• Background in Fine Art & Specie is required.
• Knowledge of Marine Cargo is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive claims forward in line with the MINT philosophy.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, clients and underwriters.
• Provide narratives and reports for monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting and claims teams.
• Lead claims across classes and assist in training junior staff.
