The Role

Deliver high-quality Claims Service to all clients, prioritizing client interests and market integrity. Ensure Key Client Outcomes are met according to service standards. A Senior Claims Handler within Finex, responsible for servicing claims on a portfolio of accounts.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage client service delivery processes, following Group policies and standards.
  • Understand clients' business and operational requirements.
  • Engage proactively with Claim Advocates and Sales teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, third parties, and underwriters.
  • Manage claims processes to meet Key Client Outcome targets with timely delivery.
  • Resolve client, carrier, and internal queries efficiently.
  • Oversee financial aspects like Cash and Bureau debt, taking preemptive actions when needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Stay informed on account specifics, market developments, and claims changes.
  • Coordinate with Mumbai colleagues on insurer/reinsurer notifications and responses.
  • Address market-related loss issues promptly.
  • Negotiate claims settlements with insurers/reinsurers using market knowledge.
  • Assist in resolving complex claims.
  • Manage high-profile claims with internal and external communications.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of underwriters, reinsurers, and service providers.
  • Contribute to Willis Quality Index metrics as required.

Other

  • Support management in risk management initiatives as per the BU risk register.
