Job Opportunity: Litigation Consultant in Employment Law

Our client, a true market leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Litigation Consultant specialising in employment law to join their field-based team. The ideal candidate will have advocacy experience and will manage cases across their locality, with some travel across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home and represent clients in employment tribunal cases. It is suitable for a qualified Advocate seeking better work-life balance or an HR professional with experience representing company interests in tribunals.

We are looking for confident, articulate, legally qualified candidates with direct employment law experience. The successful candidate will be part of the UK Legal Team, working closely with the employment law advisory service, Litigation Executive teams, and Senior Leadership. We value high standards of care and service, excellent communication skills, and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  1. Review claims brought against clients in Employment Tribunals, prepare cases, approve pleadings, manage disclosures, and document bundles.
  2. Represent clients in tribunals, hearings, and contested cases.
  3. Prepare cases, write reports, and run trials in court.
  4. Assess client cases, identify risks, and consider cost implications.
  5. Represent client interests and present relevant legal arguments.
Person Specification
  • Advocacy experience, preferably in employment law.
  • Experience in employment tribunal representation.
  • Professional qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Valid driving license and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
