Summary of Position:

Handle all aspects of Energy and Liability claims, from initial advice to settlement, under the direction of your Head of Department. We seek a proven Claims professional with experience in Energy and International Casualty claims.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Manage own accounts and liaise regularly with Brokers, account handlers, and Clients
• Create and maintain claims files
• Input document details into the in-house system
• Assess and process claims and premiums
• Produce and send advice and collection documentation
• Handle advices and collections with the London Market where appropriate
• Obtain agreement to advices and collections via CLASS/ECF system
• Coordinate with the Insurance Accounts Department for prompt payments of claims
• Produce accurate statistics as required
• Address market, client, and internal queries
• Conduct business meetings with clients and reinsurers
• Adhere to company and regulatory policies, procedures, and training requirements
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of the insurance marketplace, trends, and cycles
• Develop and manage relationships with market representatives such as Underwriters, Surveyors, Adjusters, and Lawyers
• Monitor existing book of business to identify threats or weaknesses early and address them to retain the book
• Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and communication skills
• Possess persuasive and influencing skills
• Be client-facing and customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Exhibit excellent IT and organizational skills
