Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC in London seeks a Senior Claims Adjuster – Energy to support day-to-day operation and control of the energy claims function, ensuring timely and fair settlements and ongoing service quality improvements.

The role requires at least 3 years in claims adjusting, with complex energy claims experience, strong ECF knowledge, and the ability to liaise with loss adjusters, brokers and lawyers. ACII is a plus. Join a dynamic team focused on excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years claims adjusting experience including experience in managing Complex Energy claims.
• Excellent knowledge of ECF for Lloyds and LIRMA markets.
• Very good technical coverage knowledge.
• Strong working knowledge of service providers such as loss adjusters and experts.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• ACII qualification (or progress towards) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce feedback to Underwriters and Management to improve claim issues and related risk information.
• Demonstrate Lloyds minimum standards and assist Underwriters and Claims Adjusters to progress.
• Ensure all claims allocated are controlled within company philosophies and SLAs.
• Be present at market meetings and conference calls when necessary.
• Ensure customers are treated fairly at all times.
• Log and close all complaint-related issues in accordance with policy.
