Senior Claims Adjuster. To £75,000 + bonus

This leading insurance organisation is continuing to grow at an impressive rate and is now looking for an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to focus on Legacy Claims and Reinsurance. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Duties will include
  • Ensure that all Client reporting adheres to the standards and timeframes stipulated within each Service Level Agreement.
  • Handle claims ensuring reserves are established in the company systems in an accurate and timely manner in line with agreed claims authorities applicable to each respective client.
  • Ensure that “follow” claims are monitored daily via the market bureaux claims messages.
  • Use expertise to handle contentious claims appropriately with referral to applicable authorities as appropriate.
  • Manage relationships with external experts as applicable to each case and within agreed terms of engagement.
  • Maintain flow of information with Actuarial Team to ensure that all necessary detail is provided to assist with the establishment of IBNR.
  • To support all reporting to the boards of clients and overseeing projects as required by Clients and company Management.
  • Support periodic audits and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  • Attend internal and external meetings at all levels and contribute to ensure that accurate records of these meetings are maintained for future reference.
  • Provide support to the Client Services Manager as required.
  • Provide support to the Claims Operations Team as required.
  • Provide support to the Claims Manager as required.
  • To maintain compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role.
