Job summary

Teamforce Labour is seeking an experienced Senior Civils Site Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in Acton.

The successful candidate will have strong site experience and the ability to produce and manage technical documentation across civils projects. You will set out and survey works, work with the Site Manager, and prepare RAMS/ITPs/RFIs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer in civils
• Strong knowledge of construction operations and site procedures
• Experience producing RAMS, ITPs and RFIs
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and specs
• Solid setting-out and surveying experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and with a wider site team

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Collaborating with Site Manager and construction team
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other project docs
• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specs and procedures
• Checking levels, dimensions and quality of works
• Maintaining site records and engineering docs
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving site issues
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and management
• Monitoring activities to meet standards
• Providing technical support to site teams
• Identifying issues and providing practical solutions
• Ensuring health, safety and quality throughout works

Role & Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Working closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other project documentation
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved procedures
• Checking levels, dimensions and quality of completed works
• Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving site issues
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and project management teams
• Monitoring construction activities and ensuring they are completed to the required standards
• Providing technical support and guidance to site teams
• Identifying potential issues and assisting with practical solutions
• Ensuring health, safety and quality requirements are maintained throughout the works

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer within civils and construction
• Strong knowledge of construction operations and site procedures
• Experience producing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other technical documentation
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Good setting-out and surveying experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
• Relevant engineering qualification preferred
