Job summary

Knights Construction Group Ltd. in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of civils and groundworks projects.

You will handle budgets, forecasts, CVRs, and final accounts, while negotiating variations with clients and subcontractors. You will work closely with site teams, supply chain, and management to ensure projects stay profitable, on time and within contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil, groundworks, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
• Experience preparing valuations and final accounts.
• Proactive risk and cost management.
• Excellent communication with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of civils and groundworks projects from start to finish.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Prepare monthly valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Produce CVRs and reporting on costs and profitability.
• Negotiate variations and manage subcontract terms.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement and payments.
• Assist with estimating and tendering.
