Job summary

Amentum is seeking Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to join our UK team, supporting hybrid working across our office network including Gloucester. You’ll deliver civil and structural designs for complex projects, including nuclear facilities, and coordinate interfaces with delivery partners and design teams.

The role requires an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering, broad technical design expertise, and a track record of delivering regulated, quality-assured work within safety-critical

Qualifications

• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
• Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery.
• Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of CS&A engineers and architects to define, implement and deliver specified functional works meeting safety, functional and business requirements.
• Deliver civil/structural engineering design including reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime structures and specialized Nuclear facilities.
• Manage interfaces to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.).

Due to continued growth we are currently seeking Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team, these positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK - Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.

As a Principal CS&A Engineer your responsibilities could include:

• Working in a team of highly experienced CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.
• Delivery of the civil, structural Engineering Design, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialized Nuclear facilities.
• Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.)
