Job Description:

This role involves working as part of a team of engineers and designers responsible for delivering Civil and Structural (C&S) design packages within multi-discipline projects related to the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme. Projects will include Concept Design, Execution Design, and construction support, primarily for UK compressor station infrastructure.

Your responsibilities include delivering C&S design packages within budget and schedule, ensuring quality, participating in design reviews, and providing technical support and approval of discipline deliverables.

Your profile:

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer in Civil & Structural engineering within multi-discipline projects, preferably in the Gas Transmission sector.
• Working knowledge of Gas Transmission standards and specifications, especially for compressor stations (desirable).
• Knowledge of Management of Change procedures (desirable).
• Strong understanding of C&S engineering, with awareness of other disciplines like Automation, Mechanical, Piping, EC&I, and Process.
• MEng / BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (preferred).
• Experience in producing civil and structural specifications, calculations, drawings, and schedules, and familiarity with Eurocodes and CDM 2015 requirements.
• Result-oriented with a 'First time right' mentality, aiming for client satisfaction and high-quality deliverables.
• Proficient with main C&S design software including AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Staad Pro, Tedds, and Microsoft Office.
