Responsibilities

1. As a member of a team of engineers and designers, you are responsible for delivering Civil and Structural (C&S) design packages within multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects for the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme.
2. These projects will range from Concept Design, Execution Design, to construction support.
3. Assist with temporary works design and support the HSEQ team in delivering CDM 2015 requirements.
4. The projects will be specific to the Gas Transmission sector, predominantly for UK compressor station infrastructure.
5. You are responsible for completing the C&S design deliverables within budget and schedule.
6. You are responsible for the quality of the C&S design deliverables.
7. You will participate in internal and external design reviews.
8. Make independent decisions on issues, providing technical support within C&S Engineering.
9. You are responsible for checking and approving discipline design deliverables according to company procedures.

Your profile

If you have the following profile, then we are looking forward to meeting you:

1. More than 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Engineer C&S, in multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in the Gas Transmission sector.
2. Working knowledge of the Gas Transmission standards and specifications for C&S disciplines, specifically focused on compressor stations (desirable).
3. Knowledge of the T/PM/G/35 Management of Change procedure (desirable).
4. Good knowledge of C&S engineering and design, with awareness of other disciplines (Automation, Mechanical, Piping, EC&I, and Process).
5. MEng / BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering.
6. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred).
7. Open to both experienced and less experienced candidates due to project variety.
8. Experience in producing civil and structural specifications, scopes of work, calculations, drawings, and schedules.
9. Experience applying Eurocodes within the UK.
10. Experience working with CDM 2015 requirements (PD and PC).
11. Result-oriented with a 'First time right' mentality, aiming for client satisfaction and high-quality delivery.
12. Proficient with main C&S design packages including AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Staad Pro, Tedds, and Microsoft Office.
