Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Swansea is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Technician to produce high-quality drawings and models across civil and structural projects. You will work with engineers and clients to deliver accurate design information and RC detailing expertise.

The role requires 10+ years of CAD experience in civil/structural environments, a strong RC detailing background, and the ability to work independently within a team. BIM workflows are considered a beneficial add-on.

Qualifications

10+ years' CAD experience in civil and/or structural engineering.
Proven experience on civil and structural projects.
Strong experience in reinforced concrete detailing.
Experience with RC reinforcement detailing and scheduling.
Ability to produce accurate detailed drawings and construction information.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, detailing standards and construction methods.
Ability to work independently and in project teams.
Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Produce and develop high-quality technical drawings and models for civil and structural projects.
Collaborate with engineers, project teams and clients to deliver design information.
Ensure accuracy and practicality of construction information.
Support design and site-based activities where required.
