Job summary

The Resolute Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Site Manager for a 6-month contract to oversee civil works on substation refurbishment projects across the North West and North Wales. The role is outside IR35 with a daily rate of £550 and requires extensive site experience.

Based in Manchester/Liverpool region responsibilities include health & safety, RAMS, and coordinating subcontractors while travelling to multiple sites as needed. A heavy civil background and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering background with groundworks, heavy civils, and structural packages.
• National Grid experience preferred but training provided.
• Willingness to travel to various sites across the North West.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site-level operations, health & safety, RAMS, site clearance and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage end-to-end heavy civil engineering packages on active substation sites.
• Scope includes excavations & groundworks, heavy civils, reinforced concrete structures and foundations, drainage, kerbing and roadworks, trench works & de-watering.
