Job summary

Fusion People is seeking a Project Manager to take full end-to-end responsibility for civil engineering packages within the power transmission and distribution sectors. You will manage budgets, schedules, and safety compliance across multiple civils packages for National Grid/NGED projects.

You will travel UK-wide with a base in Gloucester/South Wales, leading diverse site teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering within the UK power sector.
• Track record managing National Grid and/or NGED civils projects.
• Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or construction management.
• Relevant industry accreditations (MAPM/SMSTS/CSCS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of civil engineering packages for high-voltage power projects.
• Oversee project finances, budgeting, cost control, procurement, and commercial management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with National Grid, NGED, and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor site management teams, safety leads, and sub-contractors.
• Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations and H&S policies.
