Job summary

S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for civil engineering packages across the Midlands and South West. You will own projects from mobilisation to handover, overseeing programme, resources, and client relations on NEC contracts.

Projects range from £1m to £10m, involving education, public and private sector work, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration between commercial and site teams.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within civil engineering.
• Experience delivering projects between £1m and £10m.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge and operational NEC management.
• Experience from mobilisation through to completion with NEC projects.
• Excellent programming and planning skills.
• Strong health & safety leadership.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and plant.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Experience operating within Tier 1/main contractor environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful operational delivery of civil engineering packages.
• Lead projects from pre-start and mobilisation through construction, completion and handover.
• Work closely with Commercial, Engineering and Site Management teams.
• Manage programme, resources, client relationships, health & safety, quality and overall project performance.
• Coordinate NEC-related early warnings, compensation events and change management.
