Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to join our growing project delivery team. You will manage complex infrastructure schemes and take a hands-on role in delivering projects to high standards.

You will lead programmes, budgets and reporting, oversee resources and subcontractors, and work closely with designers to resolve technical challenges, while maintaining RAMS and compliance.

Qualificações

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial awareness including budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and subcontractor performance.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts, ideally NEC.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, project planning software and cost management/reporting tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project delivery: Manage civil engineering projects from mobilisation through construction to completion and final handover.
• Take ownership of performance: Manage programmes, budgets, forecasts and reporting, including CVRs, identifying issues early and taking action to keep projects on track.
• Manage resources: Oversee procurement and coordination of plant, labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Influence design and engineering: Interpret drawings and client specifications, and work with designers to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain quality and compliance: Ensure RAMS, quality plans, environmental controls and other documentation are developed and maintained.
• Lead commercially: Apply understanding of contracts, costs and subcontractor performance to protect outcomes.
