Job summary

Ridge & Partners LLP in Winchester is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support delivery of complex water and wastewater projects across all design stages. You will undertake technical design, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to major water sector programmes and environmental improvement schemes, attend client meetings, prepare fee proposals and drive quality through design reviews and site

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering required.
Working towards or recently chartered as CE/IEng.
Significant UK water sector experience.
Strong technical design capability.
Understanding of current design standards and guidance.
Experience using civil engineering design software.

Responsibilities

Deliver civil designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Prepare calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate interfaces with structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental and process teams.
Support project and technical management activities.
Carry out design reviews and ensure quality compliance.
Attend client and stakeholder meetings.
Prepare fee proposals and support framework submissions.
Provide mentoring and technical support to junior staff.
Support construction phase services and site inspections.
