Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp in Winchester seeks a Civil Engineering Technician to support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure through high-quality drawings, BIM models, and technical information.

You will work with engineers and project managers in our Winchester office on design and development of critical assets, contributing to multidisciplinary coordination and project documentation. Join a collaborative team with opportunities to grow in the water sector.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Understanding of engineering drawing standards.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
• Experience within the water sector.
• Working knowledge of Revit, BIM 360, or similar platforms.
• Membership of EngTech, ICE or a relevant professional institution.
• Experience producing drainage, pipeline, infrastructure, or treatment works drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and BIM models.
• Produce general arrangement, detailed design, and construction drawings.
• Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary design information.
• Develop 3D models using industry-standard software.
• Support design reviews and drawing checks.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing registers.
• Assist with site surveys and condition assessments.
• Support engineers in the production of reports and technical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards and quality procedures.
