Job summary

Avove Utilities in the UK seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join its national Water Design Team. You will design water and wastewater infrastructure, lead the design group, and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects across the UK.

The role supports long-term frameworks with major water providers, is permanent and hybrid, with offices in Glasgow, Durham or Birmingham, and potential for other arrangements. Applicants from related disciplines are welcome.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree qualification; professional qualifications welcomed.
• Strong technical background in Water/Wastewater and non-infrastructure design.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Produce and check design concepts, calculations, drawings and specs.
• Supervise junior design team members to ensure timely delivery.
• Support professional development of project team.
• Assist in budgeting and resource/finance monitoring.
• Prepare feasibility studies and appraisal/reports.
• Comply with IMS, Health & Safety, Environmental regulations.
