Job summary

SSA Recruitment is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead technical delivery on the Lower Thames Crossing, a major civils project in Kent/Essex. You will oversee engineering delivery across sections, drive QA, assurance and compliance, and mentor junior engineers.

This role requires a strong civils/highways/earthworks background, outstanding technical leadership, and ability to resolve complex design and temporary works challenges while coordinating with designers, subcontractors and client teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in major civils/highways/earthworks.
• Excellent technical leadership and decision‑making.
• Understanding of geotechnical interfaces and temporary works.
• Ability to manage complex engineering challenges.
