Job summary

Access Talent Group is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Cornwall team. You will lead infrastructure projects from concept to completion, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred), 8 years’ experience in infrastructure design and project management, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• PE license is highly desirable.
• Circa 8 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client requirements.
• Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for project design and planning.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors and engineers for project coordination.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations and proposal development to secure new business opportunities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure success.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance delivery and quality.
