Cornwall Staff Agency Limited is seeking a diligent Civil Engineer for an established Exeter-based engineering business. The role is full-time and permanent, focusing on design, planning, coordination, and delivery of civil projects with emphasis on safety and quality standards.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, review drawings and specs, support infrastructure and drainage work, and ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Understanding of civil engineering design and construction processes.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• UK driving licence; willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning, design and development of civil projects.
• Prepare and interpret drawings, specifications, calculations and reports.
• Support design of infrastructure, drainage, foundations, roads and other civil works.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors and clients.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specs.
• Ensure compliance with British Standards, building regulations and health & safety laws.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Identify technical challenges and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate project records and inspections.
