Job summary

Strata Consulting in Gateshead is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of civil projects, including highways and drainage, ensuring high standards and budget compliance.

You will mentor junior engineers, liaise with clients and authorities, and apply UK design standards with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Chartered status preferred).
• Proven experience in consultancy or contractor-side civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK design standards, highways and drainage systems.

Responsibilities

Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering projects. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
