Kelvin Power, part of VINCI Energies, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design on major energy infrastructure across the UK. You will own civil design activities from concept to construction, mentor engineers, and work with electrical and structural teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The role combines hands-on technical work with project leadership, client liaison, and continuous improvement across standards and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-graduate experience in civil engineering design.
• Experience delivering civil engineering design for industrial, infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations and associated civil infrastructure.
• Proven ability to produce and review construction-standard drawings.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and delivery of civil works for major substation and energy projects.
• Produce engineering calculations, specs and detailed drawings.
• Develop civil/structural solutions for earthworks, roads, drainage and foundations.
• Deliver substation designs in line with client requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate deliverables.

Formation

BSc, BEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline

Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards ICE MIStructE
