Job description

NET Recruit is partnering with a leading business to search for a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Drainage & Infrastructure, based in the Bristol area.

Role Overview

While in this position, your duties may include but are not limited to:

1. Managing project workload to meet deadlines.
2. Collaborating with a wider team to deliver projects, develop solutions for sectional applications including S106, S185, S278 & EA applications, and supporting junior team members.
3. Designing private drainage networks and civil engineering schemes, and reviewing work completed by others.
4. Utilising Civils 3D, Micro Drainage, or PDS/Causeway flow software for design work.
5. Developing solutions for sectional applications such as S106, S185, S278, and EA.
6. Using AutoCAD to prepare layouts alongside technicians.
7. Preparing documentation and FRA reports to support planning applications.
8. Communicating with clients about project scope and building strong working relationships.
9. Undertaking site surveys, inspections, and preparing reports.
10. Preparing tenders and proposals.

Minimum Requirements

You must meet the following criteria to apply:

• Civil Engineering degree or fully/partly chartered status (working towards Chartered Engineer (ICE)).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
