Job summary

Global engineering consultancy in Exeter is seeking a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to lead the technical delivery of land, property and infrastructure development projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and contribute to masterplans, site appraisals, design calculations and construction drawings throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experienced Civil Engineers with a strong track record in development infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery across multiple disciplines.
• Experience engaging with clients, stakeholders and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of civil engineering consultancy services across project stages.
• Manage and deliver multiple multidisciplinary development and infrastructure projects.
• Provide expertise in drainage, SuDS, flood risk, highways, earthworks and utilities.
• Produce and oversee infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations and construction drawings.
• Support projects from feasibility through planning, detailed design and construction.
• Lead client engagement and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and liaise with authorities.
