Job summary

Assystem invites applications for a lead civil detailing role near Bristol, offering hybrid working arrangements and relocation support. The role focuses on reinforcement detailing for complex nuclear structures, with responsibility for 3D modelling, supplier oversight and technical coordination.

You will act as technical authority for detailing packages, review models against design intent, coordinate interfaces, and drive quality assurance and configuration management throughout project

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures and detailing.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and interfaces.
• Strong understanding of engineering design and project delivery processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing contractor or supplier technical deliverables.
• Ability to resolve complex technical engineering issues independently.
• Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling and engineering detailing environments.
• Nuclear, defence, rail or major infrastructure experience highly desirable.

• Maintain configuration management and quality assurance throughout project delivery
• Monitor technical deliverables against agreed project schedules and standards
• Support design replication principles across complex civil engineering packages

Job Description

This hybrid role suits candidates within commuting distance of Bristol or those open to relocation support.

You will provide technical leadership across civil detailing packages for complex nuclear structures.
