Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join an innovative consultancy in Norwich. You will take ownership of projects from concept through delivery, providing technical leadership, supporting colleagues and maintaining high professional standards across commercial, healthcare and major developments.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years’ consultancy experience, strong knowledge of flood risk, drainage and SuDS design,

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of flood risk assessments, drainage and SuDS design, earthworks, S278, S106 and build-over agreements.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential.

Opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join an innovative and forward-thinking engineering consultancy in Norwich, where design quality, practical solutions and project delivery are at the heart of everything they do.

With a strong reputation for combining technically excellent design with buildable, commercially realistic solutions, the consultancy is continuing to grow and is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who can make a real impact across a varied portfolio of projects, including commercial, healthcare and other major developments.

The successful Senior Civil Engineer will take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery, providing technical expertise, supporting colleagues and maintaining the high professional standards for which the consultancy is known. The role offers plenty of variety, with responsibility for detailed design, project management and client interaction, as well as attending design and project meetings.

Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant consultancy experience, with strong knowledge of flood risk assessments, drainage and SuDS design, earthworks, S278 works, S106 applications and build-over agreements. Proficiency in Civil 3D is also essential.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills are important, as this is a role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, working collaboratively and seeing projects through from initial design to successful completion.
