Job description

My client is a leading structural-focused engineering business specializing in various building types, including residential, commercial, theatre, hospital, and art projects. The company is highly employee-oriented, offering numerous benefits and a strong focus on professional development.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the day-to-day management of structural projects.
2. Visit sites, occasionally undertake drafting, and prepare calculations and specifications for checking fabrication and reinforcement drawings as required.
3. Develop your design knowledge in accordance with British Standards and codes in concrete, steel, masonry, and timber. Additionally, enhance skills in refurbishment projects.
4. Maintain continuous communication with architects, design team members, and occasionally clients.
5. Be aware of all billing aspects related to your projects via Coretime.
6. You may be asked to participate in marketing activities from time to time.
7. Manage some projects independently, with oversight from your Associate.
8. Take responsibility for your professional development by seeking assistance when needed and proposing relevant training courses.
