As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll join a dynamic and technically focused Civil Engineering team, taking a lead role in the engineering design of civil infrastructure for energy projects.
You’ll be key in the design and delivery of multiple Civil Engineering schemes throughout the region, supporting project delivery across multiple sectors including renewables (solar PV, BESS, hydrogen), data centres and conventional power generation (gas, waste-to-energy).
This role can be based in our Glasgow or London office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home the rest of the week. Some travel to client/project sites throughout the UK and internationally will be required.
In this client-facing role, you’ll guide technical discussions and make recommendations. You’ll be responsible for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
• MSc in related field
• Professional recognition qualification such as Chartered Engineer.
• Industry recognised organisation registration.
• Full UK Driving License
• Site experience (including greenfield, construction and commissioning visits).
• Experience of: Outline design, feasibility, FEED, detailed design, procurement and installation project stages associated with, but not limited to, the following:
• Knowledge of Construction feasibility of onshore civil infrastructure including pre-construction layout (e.g. stockpile, laydown area and site compound areas, temporary working corridors) and RAMS.
• Proven history of establishing and maintaining key client relationships.
• Familiar with Proposal/ tender preparation and review.
