We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Civil Engineer to join our Consulting Highways Team. With office space in Belfast we invite applications from across the northern Ireland.
The standard hours of work are 40 hours per week, but we offer a range of flexible working practices, including hybrid, part-time and flexible working patterns. Our 130 strong Belfast Design Hub delivers a range of local, national and international projects for clients including Department for Infrastructure (DfI), Translink, National Highways, Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and the National Transport Authority (NTA). Our multidisciplinary team encapsulates Highway Engineering, Bridge/Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, River & Coastal Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Traffic Engineering/Transport Planning, as well as being the BIM Centre of Excellence for Amey. Our Senior Engineers play an important part within Highways and Active Travel team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead junior engineers in designing and delivering a variety of highway and public transport projects, including cycleways, greenways, junction improvements, highway drainage/SUDs, bus priority measures, pavement schemes, maintenance programs, and major roads or bridges. As part of our Belfast team, you’ll work on local projects and support initiatives in Ireland and the UK remotely. Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare technical reports (e.g. Feasibility/Options Reports, Assessment Reports and other technical reports)
