Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join our Ringwood team, delivering development infrastructure across residential, commercial, retail, education and healthcare projects from planning through to detailed design and construction.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of projects while maintaining quality and programme delivery, with hybrid working in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Consultancy experience delivering UK development infrastructure projects.
Strong background in highways and drainage design for residential and commercial developments.
Experience using Civil 3D and industry-standard drainage software.
Good understanding of S38, S278, S104, SuDS and UK design standards.
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Working towards or already holding ICE accreditation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Designing highways and drainage infrastructure including S38, S278, S104, SuDS, earthworks and site levels.
Producing detailed infrastructure designs using Civil 3D together with InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar software.
Working closely with architects, planners, clients and local authorities to deliver coordinated engineering solutions.
Managing projects through planning and detailed design while ensuring technical quality and programme delivery.
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting the continued development of the wider team.
