Senior Civil Design Engineer - Highways | £45,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Benefits | Hampshire

I'm excited to be recruiting for a well-established, forward-thinking transport & Infrastructure consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team. With 3 offices across the UK, they deliver innovative solutions across transport planning, highways (S278/S38), drainage, and infrastructure projects for major private and public sector clients nationwide.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a range of highway design projects, working closely with the Senior Management Team while mentoring junior staff. Key responsibilities include:

1. Project management and delivery of S278/S38 highway schemes
2. Preparation and review of designs compliant with DMRB, MCHW & local guidance
3. Overseeing resource allocation and team performance
4. Client liaison and technical advice at senior level
5. Use of Civils 3D, PDS Flow and preparation of contract documents

About You:

We're looking for a proactive engineer with:

1. Proven experience delivering S278/S38 projects
2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of DMRB
3. Confident leadership, mentoring and project management abilities
4. Proficiency in Civils 3D & PDS Flow
5. Ideally, membership of a relevant professional body
