Job description

My client, an independent, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Civil and Structural Technician to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based near the lively city of Swansea, located on the beautiful Gower Peninsula.

Essential Criteria:

1. Extensive industry experience within a consultancy-based role
2. Experience of having line managed a team of CAD Technicians
3. Good working knowledge of drafting standards within the industry
4. Demonstrable experience working with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
5. Experience drafting underground drainage, SuDS, and highways applications, with reference to relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, S278, etc.)
6. Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
7. Outstanding IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Beneficial Skills:

• Knowledge of NavisWorks/WalkInside
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint system
• Familiarity with the local region
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills
