Job summary

Menlo Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Chromium engineering team in Bracknell. You will contribute to building and hardening Chromium-based browser components in C++, spanning content, browser, core, and networking, to power Menlo's security and AI-driven capabilities.

You'll collaborate with the MARS team to integrate AI agent features and MCP servers, while working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux) and AI-assisted development tools to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
Strong C++ engineering skills.
Strong networking fundamentals and HTTP security knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Chromium-based browser components in C++, across layers such as content, browser, core, compositor, skia, and networking.
Apply networking fundamentals and HTTP security to harden browser isolation and network-facing infra.
Partner with the MARS team to integrate AI agent capabilities and MCP servers into Menlo's platform.
Use Python or Rust to build tooling and prototypes alongside core C++ work.
Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Terraform).
Debug and optimize high-scale systems across browser and supporting infra.
Collaborate with product, security, and AI teams to ship capabilities end-to-end.
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools in daily development and review.
