Job summary

Menlo Security is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Threat Protection and ShadowAI team in the UK. You will design, build, and own features that protect enterprises from web threats and AI-based risks, delivering scalable services in a secure cloud environment.

You will work with AI-assisted tooling, APIs, and dashboards, contributing to reliable detection and incident analysis while collaborating with product, security, and operations peers across the business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with NodeJS, Go, or Python.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with cloud services such as GCP and/or AWS.
• Experience with Linux and standard development tooling (git).
• Degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with AI coding and debugging assistants and ability to judge when to rely on LLM output.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own features in Threat Protection and ShadowAI product areas.
• Build scalable distributed systems and APIs with security by design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and schedules.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews to maintain quality and reliability.
