Job summary

Menlo Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Chromium engineering team in support of MARS, our AI initiative. You will contribute deep C++ expertise across content, browser, core, and networking layers to build secure, high‑performance browser components.

Collaborate with the MARS and security teams, apply networking and HTTP security know‑how, and help deploy cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) to run agent/MCP workloads reliably. Strong Chromium experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ engineering skills.
• Solid networking fundamentals and HTTP security knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Chromium‑based browser components in C++, across content, browser, core, compositor, skia and networking layers.
• Harden browser isolation and network infrastructure with strong security practices.
• Collaborate with MARS team to integrate AI agents and MCP servers.
• Use Python or Rust to build tooling and services around core C++ work.
• Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Debug and optimize high‑scale, performance‑sensitive systems and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
