Job summary

Menlo Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Chromium engineering team to advance MARS, Menlo's internal AI initiative. You'll apply strong C++ skills across Chromium layers to build and harden the browser capabilities that power AI-driven features.

You'll collaborate with security, AI, and Chromium engineers, work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux), and use AI-assisted development tools to move fast without compromising

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong C++ engineering and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Chromium layers or large-scale C++ systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Chromium-based browser components in C++ across layers to power Menlo's security and AI features.
• Apply strong networking fundamentals and HTTP security to harden browser infrastructure.
• Partner with the MARS team to integrate AI agents and MCP servers.
• Use Python or Rust to build supporting tooling alongside core C++ work.
• Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Terraform) for workloads.
• Debug and optimize performance-critical, high-scale systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and AI teams to ship capabilities end-to-end.
• Apply AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and reviews.
