Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to service, maintain and repair chillers and refrigeration systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and data centre environments.

The role involves on-site fault diagnosis, independent job management and clear reporting. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in refrigeration, a Level 3 Refrigeration/Engineering qualification, F‑Gas certification and proven fault-finding skills on centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers,

Qualifications

• 6+ years refrigeration/chiller experience.
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration / Engineering.
• Strong chiller and refrigeration fault-finding experience.
• F‑Gas certified.
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites.
• Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is highly desirable.
• Additional specialist experience such as Ammonia, CO₂, Turbocor or controls would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns on chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions.
• Work on chilled water systems, splits, VRF/VRV and associated HVAC equipment.
• Carry out electrical, controls, refrigerant and mechanical works.
• Attend customer sites and manage jobs independently.
• Complete clear service reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support to other engineers when required.
